It’s Friday, & we’re still buzzing about what incredible night of worship we had last night. If you missed out, don’t worry, there will definitely be more of them in the near future. In the meantime, I (along with my friend Joseph Craven) put together a little behind the scenes video. Something nice for all you fellow worship leaders & church musicians out there.
It seems like every couple of weeks I’m getting a new question about what guitars, amps, keyboards, computer programs we use, how we do this or that, etc. So this is the first in, hopefully, a series of videos letting you guys in behind the curtain. One of our hopes as a worship ministry is to share & teach what we’ve learned in the technical aspects of leading worship (though we by no means consider ourselves all-knowing experts). But we at Christ United would love to share everything we know with you in hopes that your worship ministry is taken to the next level & can move more powerfully in your church. So if you have any questions at all about gear, productions tricks, or how to details, please feel free to leave a comment below or on the Youtube video, or send me an email at jasonbrucemusic@gmail.com
So, for our first installment, I give you guys a quick tour around the stage & the gear we’re playing. A lot of guitars are gonna show up. Also, feel free to turn on the captions feature on Youtube, because like I say in the video, we “don’t need to send a signal so we have one transistor cease politicians and other transistor contract for yourself.” I also mention the “stuff of life” & say religious groups are super awesome.
Enjoy.
